When the Poco India team has been busy launching renamed Redmi phones one behind another, this global team has been pretty quiet for the past some months. The global team is active once again and has confirmed to launch the next smartphone in its portfolio: the Poco M3.
Poco Global’s official report was used on Twitter to confirm Poco M3’s announcement date. Poco M3 will make its world appearance on November 24 next week.
This will be the first Poco M series to the global market. The company already launch Poco M2 and M2 Pro in India earlier this year. That will be a successor to the budget-focused Poco M2, which was a rebrand of the Redmi 9 Prime. Well, if rumors are to be believed, Poco M3 will also be a rebrand of this rumored Redmi Note 10 4G that newly appeared on certification websites.
This Redmi Note 10 4G has been detected by the model number M2010J19SC for the Chinese variant. TENAA’s listing (via XDA) to the device revealed several secrets, including this design and some of the key specs. You will most likely find a 6.53-inch LED display with a 2340 x 1080 pixel resolution and a waterdrop notch.
Redmi Note 10 4G will be powered with a 2.0GHz octa-core Snapdragon chipset, probably the Snapdragon 662. This device will be available in three RAM and storage variants, including 4GB / 64GB, 6GB / 128GB and 8GB / 256GB. This device has a massive 5,900 mAh battery and a rectangular quad-camera array on the rear.
It will be very interesting to see if the customers will regard the switch to Snapdragon chipsets as an upgrade over the gaming-focused MediaTek Helio G80 chipset that powers the Poco M2. We could expect the Poco M3 to land in India shortly after its official launch.
